Steve Lucero

Steve has been with Encore Glass since 2017, bringing over 30 years of experience in the packaging industry, including 14 years focused on wine packaging.

Managing all packaging operations, Steve is recognized for his hands-on expertise and leadership, having earned Employee of the Year and multiple Employee of the Month honors. He serves the packaging function with a deep understanding of the industry, from machine operation to design and management.

Passionate about the fast-paced and ever-changing wine packaging world, Steve appreciates the rich stories behind wine brands and the agricultural heritage of Lodi, where he lives. He leads by example with a strong teamwork philosophy, encouraging transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement. Steve embodies Encore’s core values of integrity and excellence by fostering trust and treating vendors and team members like family.

Outside of work, Steve is active in his church’s community food distribution and enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking, and cornhole. His guiding principle is simple: “Come in every day knowing that something will happen. How we approach it and handle it is what makes a difference”.
