David Roth

David Joined Encore Glass in 2025 and brings more than 35 years  of experience in the wine industry.

His background spans brands of every size, price point, and style, giving him a unique perspective on how packaging choices influence quality and brand expression.

At Encore, David partners with family-owned wineries throughout Northern California to deliver glass solutions that enhance both presentation and performance. He’s passionate about helping producers find the right bottle for their wine and takes pride in elevating each client’s product through thoughtful packaging.

A Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW), David approaches his work with curiosity, professionalism, and integrity. He values Encore’s family-owned culture and the collaborative relationships that define it. His professional philosophy, “We’re born with two ears and one mouth for a reason”,  reflects his belief in listening first and understanding every customer’s needs.

Outside of work, David enjoys fishing, hiking, foraging, and golf. He has volunteered as a youth soccer coach and referee, sharing his time and leadership with his local community. His favorite varietals are Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo, and one of his most memorable moments was correctly identifying a 1978 Bonnes Mares from Domaine Robert Groffier in a blind tasting.
